To perform on going analysis on promotional activity and provide category teams with insights into appropriate mechanisms to maximize ROI such as effective promotional vehicles and utilisation of private label products for unsold secondary space.
To assist category teams in drawing analysis in preparation for Supplier negotiations by providing modelling and analysis on promotional plans and funding. To work with the customer insights team to provide input on how to minimise auto-reward by utilising personalised promotions.
Review overall promotional profitability by leaflet and country by considering all vendor funding and costs associated with the promotion at a total brand, category, and vendor level.
Review promotional forecast accuracy and understand factors that impact accuracy.
Perform ad hoc analysis as and when requested to assist with strategic business questions and investigations.
