Introduction
We are looking to recruit an outstanding creative Senior Digital Designer to become part of our in-house Digital Agency . This role reports into the Creative Manager (Digital).
Job description
Job Purpose & Objectives:
- To deliver world-class digital advertising and communication across the brands by delivering the best creative solutions to deliver to the marketing, communication and financial objectives and to provide a support function to the creative manager
- To produce creative and engaging multimedia content, tailored to a variety of channels and audiences including video, animations, photography and text.
- To interpret, conceptualize and translate all digital creative campaigns to deliver the best digital solutions for all online media.
- To maintain brand consistency in line with relevant marketing communications by adhering to the digital CI guidelines and inline with the Clicks CI.
- To manage and ensure timeous and accurate delivery of all digital artwork to meet business objectives.
- To work closely/collaboratively within own team, Account Manager and Client to ensure a smooth workflow and delivery of work while ensuring the creative brief is attained.
- To mentor junior designers to ensure timeous delivery and correct interpretation of digital creative briefs/projects.
- To produce digital concept artwork in order to communicate new and innovative ideas prior to execution of work.
- To Manage external resources to meet business deliverables.
- To pro-actively keep up with trends in digital advertising and/or design to keep abreast with the industry standards in order to achieve a competitive advantage for the group.
Minimum requirements
Knowledge:
- Background in digital design and layout that spans across all aspect of digital communications
- Excellent Mac skills in all key programmes
- Art direction and photography experience
- Video production and Motion Graphics
- Preparing artwork for ATL and BTL.
- Preparing files for print

- Deep knowledge and understanding of video production – from creative ideation through to post-production and final delivery
- Familiarity with social video production across Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Live and 360
- Sound knowledge of post-production – animation, colour grading, sound mixing etc
- Ability to work on multiple projects at once
- Ability to generate ideas, selling them to client and team
- Collaborating across the agency to drive up standards of digital creativity
- Ability to take a project from concept through to final artwork
Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 year experience in a digital design environment such as creating and applying new creative ideas within the digital sphere
- Produced branded and video content, including advertising, online and social media
- Experience of post-production – animation, colour grading, sound mixing etc
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, turning things around under pressure
- Experience working across all digital platforms
Education:
- A degree or post-graduate qualification in graphic design and multimedia, web design or similar disciplines
