Job description

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing pharmaceutical care services (within scope of practice) within emphasis on chronic
  • Telephonic interactions with customers in a professional manner and with strict confidentiality within SOP and agreed timelines
  •  Accurate and complete handling of all profiles worked on
  • Interact with health care professionals where needed
  • Interact with customers via telephone regarding chronic medication adherence and Healthcare Services
  • Investigating a targeted amount of patient profiles on Unisolve to identify patients requiring adherence counselling within a specified time frame
  • Counselling a targeted amount of patients via telephone on importance of chronic medication adherence within a specified time frame
  • Providing business with feedback on non-adherent patients
  •  Accurate record keeping of patient consent, interaction and adherence counselling 


 

Minimum requirements

Job Related knowledge

·         Minimum 2-3 years in the role of Pharmacist Assistant Post Basic
·         Further Education and Training Certificate Pharmacist Assistance (Essential)
SAPC and relevant legal knowledge

Skills, Abilities and Job Related Knowledge

·        Strong communication skills and telephone etiquette
·        Product knowledge (including OTC)
·        SAPC and relevant legal knowledge
·        Customer service orientated

·        Ethical working practice and compliance
·        Accuracy and attention to detail

  Essential: MS Excel - Intermediate,
