Job description
Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing pharmaceutical care services (within scope of practice) within emphasis on chronic
- Telephonic interactions with customers in a professional manner and with strict confidentiality within SOP and agreed timelines
- Accurate and complete handling of all profiles worked on
- Interact with health care professionals where needed
- Interact with customers via telephone regarding chronic medication adherence and Healthcare Services
- Investigating a targeted amount of patient profiles on Unisolve to identify patients requiring adherence counselling within a specified time frame
- Counselling a targeted amount of patients via telephone on importance of chronic medication adherence within a specified time frame
- Providing business with feedback on non-adherent patients
- Accurate record keeping of patient consent, interaction and adherence counselling
Minimum requirements
Job Related knowledge
· Minimum 2-3 years in the role of Pharmacist Assistant Post Basic
· Further Education and Training Certificate Pharmacist Assistance (Essential)
SAPC and relevant legal knowledge
Skills, Abilities and Job Related Knowledge
· Strong communication skills and telephone etiquette
· Product knowledge (including OTC)
· SAPC and relevant legal knowledge
