Introduction
We are looking to recruit a Junior IT Security Analyst to work within the IT department of Clicks . The role will be based at Clicks Head Office, Cape Town and will report to the Information Security Officer.
Job description
To take ownership of IT security duties and provide day-to-day support to the Information Security Officer, including:
· Administer user access management across Clicks & UPD IT applications
· Monitor and maintain role/entitlement review campaigns
· Administer Varonis unstructured data management tool
· Review user access to servers
· Identify, investigate and resolve access and authentication issues escalated by staff and other users
· Obtain, collate and provide audit evidence as required
· Keep abreast of and share details of new and ongoing information security issues, threats, remediation/mitigation steps and latest technologies
· Drive awareness of vendors / 3rd parties compliance requirements to information security standards, and ensure adherence thereof
· Update monthly IT security reports as required by the Information Security Officer
· Share workload with IT Security analysts to meet call SLA requirements
· Document new and existing IT security processes
· Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum requirements
Job related knowledge and skills
· Demonstrable general IT experience
· Basic knowledge and understanding of information security principles
· Working knowledge of Clicks applications and operating systems
· Be able to communicate with other team members; share knowledge; share resources; seek assistance
· Endeavour to satisfy or exceed performance expectations at all times
· Be deadline driven
Essential
· Matric / Grade 12
· Relevant degree, certification, IT studies or experience
Desirable
· ITIL Foundation
