Introduction
We are looking to appoint a seasoned Divisional HR Manager I for our Inland South HR department. This role will report into the National HR Manager (Retail Operations) and will be based at Clicks Regional Office in Roodepoort.
Job description

Job Purpose
The plan, coordinate and deliver the Retial Operations HR operating plan in line with HR plan, group policies and relevant legislation in order to support the achievement of business objectives and strategies.
 
Job Objectives 
  • To attract, recruit and place the right talent for the right roles in order to meet business needs.
  • To deliver onboarding and orientation of new employees to drive integration into the business.
  • To co-ordinate and manage delivery of the performance management process, in accordance with agreed frameworks, in order to drive a high-performance culture.
  • To monitor and report on learning delivery to ensure positive business impact and employee experience.
  • To deliver a pipeline of competent and empowered talent to meet current and future business needs.
  • To deliver the transformation roadmap in order to achieve transformation targets.
  • To manage and resolve employee relations matters in line with group policies, standards and relevant legislation.
  • To deliver all HR-related annual and ad-hoc projects in accordance with the HR calendar and the group plan.
  • To build, manage and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive implementation of HR best practice in order to achieve competitive advantage.
  • To manage financial, human, and other resources in order to deliver the operating plan and achieve business requirements.

Job experience
Essential:
  • 5 years’ experience in a retail, beauty or services industry in an HR management role  
  • 5 years generalist HR experience
  • 3 years management experience in a large, muti-site organisation
  • 3 years’ experience dealing with IR and CCMA matters
Desirable:
  • Leading negotiations in a bargaining council or a labour union
 
Education
Essential:
  • 3-year HR degree or related qualification 
Desirable:
  • Post graduate qualification: Honours/masters degree.
  • Chartered SABPP accreditation
