An opportunity has become vacant for a Technical Specialist II within the IT Infrastructure team, reporting into the Technical Team lead.
Job description
Purpose
Perform repeatable system administration tasks associated with Microsoft Windows platforms. Install and configure Enterprise-class infrastructure per defined standards.
Objectives
- Logging and Managing Calls on Helpdesk Management System
- Microsoft Server OS & Application installation and support
- Hardware and software support
- Troubleshooting technical issues and managing problems
- Monitoring systems performance and taking corrective actions
- Liaising with 3rd party service providers
- Maintaining system and related business documentation
- Patch Management
- O365 management including license management.
- Microsoft Exchange 2016, maintaining and support
- Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM), Patch management and package deployments
- VMware Experience, other Virtualization platforms. Server deployments, template management
- Active Directory management and hardening
- Microsoft Azure experience, PAAS, IAAS, AVD, PIM to name a few.
- Microsoft Remote Desktop Services, management, 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022.
- Linux, Kubinetics, RedHat Openshift experience required

Qualifications and Experience
Essential
- Minimum 10 years IT experience
- Minimum 2 years retail systems and enterprise
Desirable
- Linux Administration (advantage)
- POS (Point-of-Sale) Systems (advantage)
- Microsoft Office 365, MS Azure
- Hybrid Cloud Infrastructures (specifically Microsoft Azure)
- A and N Certification
- Microsoft Certification MCP/MCSA/MCSE/MCITP
