While in the program, participants will:
- Develop an understanding of the services UPD offers to its customers
- Receive on-going training and development through mentorships, job shadowing and on-the-job experience
- Provide general application support and maintenance as and when required
- Collaborate with experienced developers and technical teams on exciting projects
- Collaborate with business to clarify business requirements to correct errors, improve performance or create and test new functionality
- Accurately document business and technical specifications in line with IT guidelines
- Be exposed to different areas of the business to broaden technical knowledge
- Build relationships through networking
Gain exposure to the following areas, but not limited to:
- Wholesale and Distribution Industry
- Project implementation exposure
- SAP BI Applications
- Business Requirements gathering
What applicants can expect:
- Competitive and selective process
- If selected, participants will be required to work full time on the duration of the programme at the UPD Lea Glen Office
- Rotations are based on business needs
- If selected, participants should be willing to travel to next rotation with little notice and are responsible for their own living arrangements
- Relocation is/may be required depending on where the candidate is located
Minimum requirements
Qualifications
Matric / Grade 12
Completed 3-year Degree/Diploma in Information Technology
Candidates who will be available full time
Experience:
Graduates should NOT be employed, as this is a full time programme
