Job description
To be responsible for the budgeting and forecasting process from inception to completion including:
- To prepare and communicate the timelines and instructions
- To ensure the budgeting tool is ready for use and users are trained accordingly
- To actively manage the planning and submissions
- To consolidate group numbers
- To ensure all deadlines are met
- To assist with ad-hoc reporting and analysis
- To assist with monthly, interim and year end reporting
- To create opportunities for improved team work
- To be the business expert in the use and application of SAP BPC and to provide training and support where necessary
- To identify and implement improvements within Finance
- To provide coaching and mentorship for future development
- To assist in delivering long term objectives and goals
Minimum requirements
Education and Experience:
- B.Com Honours with accounting (essential)
- Chartered Accountant (CA) essential
- 1 year post Article experience within a corporate environment
- 1 year Financial Reporting experience
- SAP experience (essential)
- SAP BPC experience (essential)
Job related knowledge and skills:
- Financial reporting and statutory requirements
- Sound knowledge of accounting
- Financial management
- Score carding and performance management
- Strategic thinking and problem solving
