Maintain accreditation of the Pharmacy Healthcare Academy including site and tutor registration. Manage continues professional development for Pharmacy Healthcare professionals.
Job description
Job Objectives
- Manage the learning and development activities for Pharmacy Healthcare employees, support the workforce acquiring knowledge, skills, and abilities required for effective job performance.
- Coordinate and consolidate learning and development needs in line with the operating plan.
- Develop and manage learning and development budget for the area of responsibility, develop and implement an annual learning and development calendar in line with budget and transformation targets in order to build organisational capability.
- Ensure delivery of learning and development interventions in line with quality standards in order to achieve learning outcomes and business objectives. Ensure compliance to group policies, quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate learning and development interventions and delivery in order to ensure positive business and learner impact as well as continuous improvement.
- Ensure coordination, completion and submission of the WSP/ATR in line with business and SETA requirements and optimise skills development grants.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to identify topics on which training is needed and devising appropriate interventions to meet these requirements.
- Work closely with the digital learning and development team to implement digital training solutions where needed and track learner adoption
- Manage and report on learning site and tutor registration, ensure compliance.
- Implement and report on continues professional development (CPD) curriculum for healthcare professionals in order to maintain professional registration and continuous updating of professional knowledge and skills.
- Deliver skills development targets as per learnership registration, completion and absorption targets, skills spent and spent on people with disabilities
- Manage Pharmacy Intern registration, induction and exam preparation
- Manage Clicks Foundation bursary scheme through the Quality assurance department, execute communication plan and bursar engagement
- Responsible for Pharmacy Assistant learnership content development in line with Pharmacy Council and QCTO requirements.
- Ensure the registration and accreditation of the PHA, assessors and moderators
- Ensure effective learner management processes, including enrolment, SAPC Registration, Record-keeping, Tracking and Reporting Implementation of the Pharmacy Healthcare Academy Quality Assurance Model
Minimum requirements
Job Experience:
- Essential: 5 years’ experience in Learning and Development
- Experienced in Project Management
- Pharmacy council audits
Education:
- Registered Pharmacist with SAPC
- B Pharm Degree
