Introduction
We are looking to recruit a Graduate Trainee for a 12 month fixed term contract, to work within the Tax department of Clicks Group Services. The role will be based at Clicks Head Office in Cape Town and will report to the Tax Manager.
Job description
Purpose and Objectives:
· Provide support to the tax team in performing monthly tax compliance related functions
- Preparation of tax schedules for annual financial audit
- Assist with ad-hoc admin as required
- Assist with drafting reponses to requests from tax revenue authorities

Qualifications and Experience:
· BCom Degree from a recognised University (Essential)
· Tax knowledge preferable
· Computer literacy (Excel, Word) (Essential)
Skills, Abilities and Job Related Knowledge:
- Knowledge of tax principles (preferable)
- Efiling (Preferable)
- Attention to detail
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Good time management skills
- High work standards
- Ability to follow rules and procedures
- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
